This sensor, in conjunction with a telemetry transmitter / receiver, is used to indicate the height and elevation change of the object to which it is attached. It is designed for use with FrSky telemetry systems.

The variometer sensor calculates the altitude with the help of atmospheric pressure. As altitude increases, atmospheric pressure becomes lower, allowing the sensor to estimate altitude. An exact altitude display is not possible because the pressure changes due to the weather! The variometer sensor can output the altitude via the DA port.

Altitude Rate Formula: (Output DA Voltage - 1.65) /1.65=Altitude Rate Speed ​​/ 10.24.
