FrSky Variometer Sensor High Precision Version

This sensor, in conjunction with a telemetry transmitter/receiver, is used to indicate the height and height change of the object to which it is attached. It is designed for use with FrSky telemetry systems.

The variometer sensor calculates the altitude using the atmospheric pressure. With increasing altitude the atmospheric pressure becomes lower, so the sensor can estimate the altitude. An exact altitude display is not possible, because the pressure changes due to the weather conditions! The variometer sensor can give the altitude via DA-Port.

Height Rate Formula: (Output DA voltage - 1.65) /1.65=Altitude Rate Velocity / 10.24.
