The Gemfan 45mm-3 3-blade propellers were developed specifically for Tiny Whoops and micro FPV drones. With a diameter of 45 mm, a pitch of 1.5 inches, and a 3-blade design, these propellers are engineered for powerful thrust, rapid acceleration, and responsive handling. Gemfan recommends them specifically for 80–85 mm micro quads and indoor Tiny Whoop racing.

This version features a 1-mm motor shaft mount, making it suitable for compatible micro motors with a 1-mm shaft. Gemfan lists 0805 motors as the recommended combination and specifies a recommended quad weight of approximately 80 g.

Weighing just 0.43 g per propeller, the rotating mass remains low. This supports rapid changes in RPM and thus agile flight behavior—exactly what’s needed for small Whoops navigating between table legs, door frames, and other suddenly appearing obstacles.

The propellers are made of durable polycarbonate (PC). The material combines low weight with the ruggedness essential for Tiny Whoop propellers when dealing with minor impacts and frequent contact with obstacles. According to Gemfan, the 3-blade design offers more thrust, faster acceleration, and a higher top speed compared to the corresponding 2-blade version.
