ImmersionRC Power Play FPV DVR

A DVR designed exclusively for FPV.
The internal DVR on the FatShark Dominator goggles is "ok", but it doesn't come close to the quality that PAL/NTSC can provide.
Instead of the MJPEG compression used in the Dominator, the PowerPlay uses x264 (AVC) compression at a much higher bit rate. The Dominator's frame rate of 30 frames per second is also doubled to 60 frames per second, which is essential for capturing smooth race footage.

The power section.....
The Power section of PowerPlay is a pair of two 18500 Li-ion cells that can power a Dominator HDO + rapidFIRE + DVR for up to 3 hours*. To charge, either use the built-in USB-C port for up to 1.5A of charging, or simply pull out the cells and replace them with a freshly charged set.The PowerPlay comes with 1400mAh cells, but larger capacity 2040mAh cells are available from most shops and are used in the FrSky X-Lite radios, so any decent FPV dealer will have them in stock.

Head Strap
The PowerPlay comes with a head mount accessory kit. There is a quick release on the back of the standard goggle head strap, and the newly included top strap provides a comfortable fit. A short Y-cable connects power, A/V, and the fan connector.The rear-mounted DVR has the advantage of allowing those behind you to see what you, the pilot, are seeing. A longer version of the cable is also included for those who prefer to keep their battery/DVR in a pocket and keep the weight off their head.

Micro/Whoop
Quads, which are extremely lightweight, don't want the added weight of an HD camera system. High quality SD footage of these amazing indoor flights is therefore of interest, and PowerPlay delivers.
