The BETAFPV LiteRadio 4 Neo is a compact and exceptionally lightweight 2.4 GHz ExpressLRS radio control system for FPV drones, fixed-wing models, robots, and other RC applications. With 10 channels, adjustable transmit power up to 100 mW, and an integrated ExpressLRS 2.4 GHz transmitter module, it offers a straightforward solution for beginners, simulator pilots, and anyone looking for a handy remote control for on the go.

Compared to earlier LiteRadio models, BETAFPV has expanded the control options to include, among other things, two additional switches and separate trim switches. This brings the total number of available output channels to ten. The two trim controls allow for adjustments in four directions and feature a central push function for resetting.

The potentiometer gimbals feature a special wear-reducing coating, designed to ensure consistently smooth and precise stick movements over the long term. At the same time, the case remains pleasantly lightweight at around 210 g. The compact gamepad design is therefore suitable for both extended simulator sessions and as a straightforward transmitter in an FPV backpack.

The integrated ExpressLRS 2.4 GHz RF system offers three adjustable power levels: 25, 50, or 100 mW. BETAFPV specifies an operating time of approximately 4–5 hours at 100 mW or up to 8 hours at 25 mW. Power is supplied by a permanently integrated 1S 1000mAh LiPo battery, which can be charged via USB-C at up to 5 V / 3 A or 15 W.

For FPV simulators, the LiteRadio 4 Neo can be connected to a computer or compatible device via a USB-C cable. According to BETAFPV, most simulators as well as DJI Virtual Flight are supported. Important note regarding the Neo version: Unlike the standard LiteRadio 4, the LiteRadio 4 Neo does not have a Bluetooth joystick mode. The simulator connection is therefore made via a USB cable.

The current Neo hardware uses an ESP8285 as the main MCU of the ELRS-TX module. BETAFPV specifies ExpressLRS V3.6.2 for the Neo transmitter module. The LiteRadio 4 Neo is intended to be configured and updated using the BETAFPV Configurator. The Neo firmware is explicitly not interchangeable with older LiteRadio 4 hardware versions.
