The iFlight BLITZ 5.8GHz 1.6W VTX is a high-performance analog FPV video transmitter for freestyle, racing, and long-range drones. With an adjustable output power of up to 1600 mW, a total of 40 channels—including the race band—and a wide input voltage range of 7 to 34 V, this video transmitter is suitable for a wide variety of modern FPV builds. iFlight includes the BLITZ 1.6W VTX as standard equipment in the Nazgul5 V3 Analog, among other models.

Four selectable power levels—25 mW, 400 mW, 800 mW, and 1600 mW—allow you to adjust the transmission power to suit your specific application. A PIT mode is also available. A fast frequency lock is designed to reduce interference with other pilots upon power-up, while the integrated output power self-test ensures reliable operation of the VTX.

Using the IRC-Tramp protocol, the video transmitter can be configured directly via a compatible flight controller or Betaflight. This makes it easy to set the channel and output power without having to fiddle with the VTX directly—especially convenient when the video transmitter is tucked deep inside the frame like a small, very warm cave dweller. iFlight provides a corresponding Betaflight VTX table for this purpose.

With a 30.5 × 30.5 mm mounting hole spacing, M3 holes, and a weight of just 18.9 g without the antenna, the BLITZ VTX can be easily integrated into many classic FPV frames. The antenna connects via MMCX.
