ImmersionRC RapidFIRE Analog PLUS FPV Goggle Receiver Module
The rapidFIRE technology takes its name from the images that are combined by two 5.8 GHz receiver modules to form a clean and interference-free image. Tearing and rolling are eliminated and the advanced noise detection algorithms guarantee a clean and stable image at all times. The rapidFIRE module is optimized for FPV race or FPV hobby use in environments with multipath interference such as indoor FPV races in abandoned buildings, etc., but also offers excellent sensitivity and selectivity outdoors and for long distances.
The rapidFIRE module is compatible with all Fat Shark Dominator LCD FPV video eyewear, including Fat Shark Dominator V1, V2, V3, SE, HD1, HD2, Dominator HD3, Fat Shark Dominator HDO, and Attitude V3 and V4. To ensure this compatibility, injection molded and high quality painted module bay bezels are provided for the Dominator and Attitude eyewear.
For Fat Shark Dominator Attitude and Fat Shark Dominator HDO FPV video glasses, the module is plug-and-play. For all other FPV Fat Shark video glasses, a Headtracker-Bay Aux Power Board with flat flex cable is included, which is recommended for best results.
As expected from ImmersionRC, we have future-proofed the rapidFIRE module by providing it with a USB port that allows future firmware updates and the addition of new features via our Vortex configuration app.
The ImmersionRC rapidFIRE module provides easy menu navigation using a 5-way joystick that is used to scroll through the menus, which are displayed on an attractive OLED display on the outside of the module. On Top there is feedback of critical parameters on the OSD.
Key features include a built-in spectrum analyzer, favorite channels with live single-channel spectrum display for manual tuning, band scanning and much, much more.
When rapidFIRE technology is used for time races, it prevents images from being dropped from the FatShark DVR. Finally, DVR material can be reliably compared for FPV photo finishes.
