The new Radiomaster TX16S Multi Protocol remote control is here.
But the design looks familiar, doesn't it?
Yes of course, at first glance the Radiomaster TX16S remote control is almost identical to the Jumper T16 Pro. And there's a very simple reason for this: two entrepreneurs developed a product together and then went their own ways. The result is the TX16S from Radiomaster and the T16Pro from Jumper.
But there are also a few important differences. Although both have a USB port, the Jumper uses a mini-USB connection, while the Radiomaster has a USB-C connection. The Radiomaster also boasts a "built in charging" function. This means you no longer have to remove the batteries from the Radiomaster to charge it. We also keep hearing that the switches and buttons on the Radiomaster are much more ergonomically arranged. Unfortunately, we have not yet been able to test this ourselves. But a more intensive test will follow as soon as we have a sample in our hands.
The Radiomaster TX16S remote control has 2 external UART ports that can be used to install software and for updates. All in all, both remote controls are very similar, but it looks as if the Radiomaster is slightly ahead. The lower price is also not to be sneezed at.
Release date will be around the middle / end of May.
