The Flycolor Raptor5 50A ESC (G071-50A) is a classic single ESC for modern FPV setups - compact, powerful and located exactly where efficiency and reliability are more important than excessive power reserves.

With 50A continuous current, this controller offers enough power for typical 5" freestyle and racing drones, while remaining lightweight and space-saving. It is precisely this balance that makes it so interesting: enough power for dynamic flights without adding unnecessary weight to the system.

A modern STM32G071 32-bit processor works inside, combined with the proven BLHeli_32 firmware. This ensures precise motor control, clean signal processing and support for current protocols such as DShot. The result is direct, controlled flight behavior - particularly noticeable during rapid throttle changes.

The small aluminum heat sink plays a crucial role: it helps to efficiently dissipate the heat generated and ensures stable performance even under load. Especially with compact builds, thermal management is often an underestimated factor.

As with many high-performance ESCs, an integrated BEC has been deliberately omitted. This reduces potential sources of interference and increases reliability - provided that the overall system is set up properly.

The Raptor5 50A is therefore not a toy, but a solid foundation for well thought-out FPV builds.
