Holybro Pixhawk 6X Baseboard V2A Carrier Board for Autopilot

Product description

The Holybro Pixhawk 6X Baseboard V2A Carrier Board is a state-of-the-art autopilot platform for professional UAV, VTOL, rover, and robotics projects. Based on the powerful STM32H753 processor and the open FMUv6X standard, this system offers maximum computing power, extensive redundancy, and state-of-the-art sensor technology for demanding autonomous applications in research, industry, and commercial projects.

At its core is an ultra-fast Arm Cortex-M7 processor running at 480 MHz, combined with 2 MB of flash and 1 MB of RAM. This enables the Pixhawk 6X to process even complex navigation algorithms, sensor data fusion, and autonomous flight modes with impressive speed and stability. In short: This is less of an “RC accessory” and more of a “miniature aviation computer with a need for control.”

Of particular note is the comprehensive redundancy architecture:
The Pixhawk 6X features triple-redundant IMUs and dual-redundant barometers, which operate on separate buses and with independent power supplies. If PX4 detects a sensor failure, the system automatically switches to another sensor—seamlessly and without loss of control.

The integrated vibration isolation reduces high-frequency interference and ensures more precise sensor data and more stable flight behavior. Additionally, the IMUs feature active temperature control via integrated heating elements, ensuring the sensors always operate within the optimal temperature range.

Thanks to an Ethernet port, CAN bus, SPI expansion, multiple UARTs, and extensive PWM outputs, the Pixhawk 6X baseboard is perfectly suited for complex UAV platforms, research projects, industrial applications, and autonomous systems with additional sensors or mission computers.

The carrier board has a modular design and separates the FMU, IMU, and baseboard via Pixhawk Autopilot Bus connectors. This ensures maximum flexibility, maintainability, and expandability. It’s a bit like LEGO for aerospace engineers—only with significantly more telemetry and fewer colorful bricks.
