The Lumenier QAV-R 2 is the worthy successor to the venerable QAV-R that many pilots fell in love with in 2015. The QAV-R 2 retains many design elements of the original, but adds modern compatibility and features preferred by today's pilots.

The QAV-R 2 is made from high quality Lumenier carbon fiber and sealed with a smooth clear coat. It looks and feels fantastic. The carbon weave is parallel to each part of the frame for maximum strength and durability. But what's looks without functionality?
The QAV-R 2 is built to last and features individually removable 4.5mm thick arms. The four arms form an interlocking arrangement on the underside of the frame that strengthens the entire quad. The arms are equipped with shock absorbers that protect your engines from damage should you (if you) get into an accident with a tree or asphalt. The lower and upper plates are 2.5mm and 2mm thick, respectively, so the frame has 7.5mm of carbon in the middle.
The QAV-R 2's electronics stack can be configured as desired, either with standard stacks spaced 30.5 x 30.5 mm or with mini-stacks of 20 x 20 mm. Both versions of the QAV-R 2 are designed for mounting the LiPo battery from above. The included non-slip silicone battery pad helps hold the LiPo in place and prevents any movement during flight or in the event of a crash.
