Product description

The Hydrophobe is a 255 mm waterproof 5" Cine-Quad with a 2 mm aluminum center plate which also serves as a heat sink for your Esc and Vtx. It has a 3 mm carbon bottom plate, 6 mm arms and a 1.5 mm top plate. A TPU apron keeps rain, snow and dirt out and is supplemented with sealants to make it as waterproof as possible.

Use non-conductive thermal paste for heat transfer, but do not allow the bare panels to come into direct contact with the aluminium.

The arms have attachment points for floats. I epoxied spacers in pool noodles to make a quick and easy float.
