Shendrones Siccario Cinelifter Alpha Gel FPV Base Frame
This carbon fiber Cinelifter base frame was designed specifically to build Shen Drones Siccario Cinelifter.... a 405mm X8 that optimizes weight distribution for ideal flight characteristics. The Siccario has upward curved 10mm arms that place the thrust line directly through the heaviest part of the drone, the camera.
This Cinelifter was developed in collaboration with Gab707, who wanted to take advantage of the Z-Cam's slim form factor by placing the camera between the props to allow prop-free video at 0 or even negative tilt - the preferred way to film sports downhill. This reduced rotational mass and improved handling.
A new approach
The Shende Drones Thicc came out at the beginning of the Cinelifter era, so there is a certain DIY feel to it. With this new baby, they wanted something that was perfect in all aspects so that you could work with it immediately without tinkering around. That's why Gab, Troy Naquin and Shen Drones decided to team up and offer the drone as a complete solution instead of a kit. That way, you get Gab's expertise in camera damping and SteadXP, and Troy and Quad Standard Labs handle production, sourcing the best components, and UAV Tech creates custom tuning packages.
Alpha Gel
A key feature of Alpha Gel bushings is their consistent performance across a range of temperatures. Ideal for shooting winter sports. These grommets were placed in the freezer for an hour and still remained soft!
