The Mini 2 is currently DJI'slatest addition to the small drone range. As the successor to the DJI Mavic Mini, it has all kinds of improvements to make it even more convenient and safer to use, especially for newcomers. The biggest innovations include recording in 4K UHD, a higher bit rate of up to 100 Mbit/s, photos in RAW format and improved live image transmission thanks to OcuSync 2.0. Another new feature is that the DJI Mini 2 can now also record 4K videos at 30 fps. In addition, the DJI Mini 2 offers more safety and convenience with functions such as Return To Home or Auto Takeoff - especially for beginners. The QuickShot "Boomerang" is now also available. And the best thing is: with all these new features, the weight of the DJI Mini 2 has remained very light at under 250 grams!
OcuSync 2.0
The image and signal transmission system DJI OcuSync 2.0 is an absolute asset for the DJI Mini 2. Compared to the DJI Mavic Air or DJI Mavic Mini, the DJI Mini 2 has a clear advantage here, with a range of up to 10 kilometers (FCC) and up to 6 kilometers (CE). Above all, the lower latency (delay time) and significantly better stability not only ensure more comfortable use, but also greater safety.
QuickShots: Dronie, Rocket, Circle, Helix and Boomerang
Several intelligent shooting modes can be activated for the DJI Mini 2 in the DJI Fly app. The intelligent shooting modes are particularly suitable for pre-made video scenes with exciting special effects. The DJI Mini 2 is available in two versions, which differ from each other not in terms of performance or function, but in terms of the included scope of delivery and ultimately also the price. The DJI Mini 2 Fly More Combo, in addition to the standard scope of delivery, includes a 2-way multi-charger with QuickCharge function, two additional batteries, an 18-watt power supply from DJI and a storage bag. Important to mention: A microSD card is not included with the DJI Mini 2.
Conclusion: entry-level drone and "always with you" drone!
Thanks to its stable and precise flight characteristics, the DJI Mini 2 is ideal for beginners, as the drone is safe and uncomplicated to operate in flight. But the small drone is also ideal as a travel and vacation companion thanks to its compact size and low weight. The drone is simply perfect for taking pictures on the go!
