The FrSky Tandem X20 series is a dual-band telemetry radio system. Its development has taken into account valuable feedback from FrSky's extensive customer base and experience with previous remote controls, as well as introducing many new features, such as a color touchscreen display, which is underpinned by an ergonomic design. The FrSky Tandem X20 series HD radio system is the perfect solution for FPV flyers and pilots who prefer easier operation with fewer devices. The HD version of the X20 radio system features an integrated FPV screen that supports 720p 60FPS video quality, eliminating the need for a standalone FPV screen. Combining HD 720p 60FPS video quality with digital video transmission technology with nearly 0ms low latency, the X20 HD radio system provides more fun and confidence in FPV flying. The built-in video receiver module is compatible with all HDZero video transceiver (VTX) products.
The X20 HD radio package includes a 5.8G antenna kit. The circularly polarized directional antennas ensure that the radio receives optimal video transmission signals even in complex RF environments. The HD version of the X20 radio also features an HDMI output that allows HD video to be easily transmitted to an external monitor or device when needed. This is a great solution if you want to use your existing FPV goggles that support HDMI input, eliminating the need for a separate HDZero video receiver on your goggles.

Hardware Design The overall weight of the Tandem X20 series has been kept low at less than 1000 grams by using lightweight materials while maintaining a strong and robust quality. The remote control features an 800 x 480 pixel color touchscreen display at the top of the remote control, which is easy to read indoors and in direct sunlight outdoors.
The Tandem X20 series has been enhanced with 6 customizable buttons on the front of the case that allow quick switching between functions, ideal for using flight modes. An additional 2 pushbutton switches on the rear have been incorporated to provide flexibility, in the ideal position for the launch fingers of DLG pilots, whether you are left or right handed. All trims and pots come in CNC machined metal construction, making the remote control system even more robust.
Ergonomics The two side grips of the Tandem X20 series are made of a high-quality, comfortable material and are ergonomically very comfortable to hold. The two Hall gimbals are well positioned so that the sticks are very close to the edge of the handle for easy reach and control, and the spring tension and stick travel (45°to 60°) can also be adjusted. (The S and HD versions support rotatable gimbals) adjustable in L/R 8°.
Internal 868MHz/2.4GHz Dual-Band & External Module Bay The TD dual-band RF system combines the features and benefits of both FrSky 868MHz and 2.4GHz RF systems into one system. The TD features true simultaneous dual-band long-range control with telemetry, achieving reliable end-to-end latency of 4ms while maintaining a robust, high-quality signal link. The full range of TD, ACCESS and ACCST-D16 receivers are supported. The built-in TANDEM RF system supports ACCESS and ACCST D16 protocols. In addition, the Tandem X20 series features a rear lite module bay to provide more options for connecting external devices. The external Lite module bay supports R9M Lite, R9M PRO Lite, XJT Lite, etc. FrSky provides working compatibility with third-party products with self-developed technologies after FrSky verified third-party compatibility test.
