The HGLRC Thor Pro LiPo Balance Charger Board is a practical solution for charging and discharging LiPo batteries in parallel. With XT30 and XT60 connectors, a current capacity of up to 40 A, and built-in protection features, the charger board is particularly well-suited for FPV pilots and RC modelers who use multiple flight batteries.

In addition to load balancing, the Thor Pro features a built-in discharge function that can bring batteries down to a cell voltage of 3.8 V. This makes it ideal for both preparing for the next flight day and for subsequent battery storage.

Parallel Charging with Sophisticated Protection

The HGLRC Thor Battery Charger Board Pro supports LiPo batteries with 2 to 6 cells and allows them to be connected to a suitable external balance charger. The maximum input current is 40 A, while the balancer connections are rated for up to 2 A.

For added safety, each XT30 and XT60 charging connector has its own 15-A automotive fuse. The individual balancer wires are protected by self-resetting thermal fuses. In the event of a short circuit, an LED indicates that the protection mechanism has been triggered.

Integrated LiPo Discharger for Battery Storage

After flying, there is often residual charge remaining in the batteries. With the integrated discharge function, you can reduce this to the standard storage voltage of 3.8 V per cell.

The discharger supports 2S to 6S LiPo batteries and features connectors for XT30 and XT60 plugs. This allows you to manage different battery types from the FPV and RC model-making sectors using the same accessories.

Important Notes

The HGLRC Thor Pro is not a standalone charger. A compatible external LiPo balance charger is required for charging.

When charging in parallel, only batteries with the same number of cells, the same cell chemistry, and sufficiently similar cell voltages may be connected. Inspect each battery for damage before connecting it, and observe the permissible charging and balancing currents. LiPo batteries should always be charged on a fire-resistant surface and never left unattended while charging.
