Introducing the Lumenier QAV-R 2 Deadcat. The worthy successor to the venerable QAV-R that many pilots fell in love with in 2015. The QAV-R 2 retains many design elements of the original, but adds modern compatibility and features preferred by today's pilots.
The new "Deadcat" design for the QAV-R 2 swings the arms back, resulting in an image with no propeller in view! Perfect for a cinematic look of a flying camera. In addition to the arms swinging back, the QAV-R 2 Deadcat uses the XL main body plates that push the camera even further forward and provide more room for your gear inside. The XL plates fit 20x20 and 30x30 in both the center and rear.
The Deadcat also fits perfectly with the new HD FPV systems, such as the DJI Digital HD System or the Caddx Vista Digital HD System. There is enough room to mount any digital system in the rear of the frame. With the QAV-R 2 Deadcat, you won't have any props in sight and you can build a great digital HD flying machine!

The QAV-R 2 Deadcat is made of high quality lumenier carbon fiber and sealed with a smooth clear coat. It looks great and feels great. The carbon weave is arranged parallel to each part of the frame for maximum strength and durability. But what's looks without functionality, right?
The QAV-R 2 Deadcat's electronics can be configured to your liking, either with standard 30.5 x 30.5 mm spacing or mini 20 x 20 mm spacing. Both versions of the QAV-R 2 Deadcat are designed for top mounting of the LiPo battery. The included non-slip silicone battery pad helps hold the LiPo in place and prevents any movement during flight or in a crash.
