Product description

The Menace Raptor is a circularly polarized 5.8-GHz omnidirectional antenna for analog FPV video systems. Its pagoda-style design, made up of precision-manufactured PCB elements, enables uniform signal radiation over 360 degrees. With an antenna gain of 1.09 dB and an efficiency of 92%, it is suitable for both video transmission to FPV drones and reception on compatible FPV goggles.

Left-hand circular polarization (LHCP) reduces the reception of oppositely polarized signals and can minimize interference caused by multipath propagation. The rugged injection-molded housing protects the antenna elements from mechanical stress. A reinforced connection between the coaxial cable and the SMA connector increases stability at the connection point.

With a total height of 85 mm and a weight of 9.4 g, the antenna can also be used in compact FPV setups. The shielded coaxial cable offers additional flexibility during installation and makes it easier to position the antenna on the frame or the receiver unit.
