TBS Crossfire Nano TX Module (Lite Module Bay) – Long-Range FPV Transmitter
Product description
Why Nano?
The Nano TX is designed for installation in X-lite and X9D Lite radios with a "Lite" interface. Its performance, features, and even the price are the same as those of the Micro TX V2.
A New Era of Connectivity
The TBS CROSSFIRE is a long-range radio link based on the latest RF technology, enabling self-healing two-way communication and offering an unimaginable range. With a sensitivity of -130 dB, full RF diversification, and tiny receivers for FPV quads, the TBS CROSSFIRE incorporates state-of-the-art technology to provide a superior long-range control link.
However, remote control systems have far more to offer than just range. Latency, telemetry, resistance to interference, ease of use, and overall build quality are too often sacrificed for that last bit of range. The Crossfire boasts a long range and uses that headroom to deliver additional functionality and reliability. A bright future for FPV lies ahead :)
Simplicity
The Crossfire Nano TX borrows the core technology from its bigger brother but is a JR-module transmitter, streamlined to include only the most sought-after features—at a killer price! For people who want to make extreme long-distance flights over 15–20 km, the Crossfire TX is still the way to go. For anyone who wants to fly indoors, fly mini-quads, or simply explore their surroundings a few kilometers away, the Nano TX is the perfect companion. It still flies up to 40 km, just like its big brother. But it costs less than half the price.
It just works!
Aside from its unmatched range, what we’re most proud of with the TBS CROSSFIRE is that it simply works. In the past, our question was always: “Could our R/C connection keep up?” With the TBS CROSSFIRE, you can sit back and relax. But don’t just take our word for it. All leading drone race organizers require pilots to use the TBS Crossfire. All leading drone racers fly the TBS Crossfire. The longest-range missions are flown with TBS Crossfire. Now it’s affordable for the masses as a multipurpose radio link!
Telemetry / CRSF
As a modern R/C link, it features built-in telemetry. Two-way communication opens up new possibilities—from streaming MAVLink data to your smart device (note: the Crossfire Nano TX does not support MAVLink streaming!) to updating your firmware, adjusting your video transmission channel, or fine-tuning flight control parameters such as PIDs. Adaptive bandwidth controls the transmission speed or optimizes for maximum range. CRSF is a proprietary TBS communication protocol between the Crossfire and the R/C and flight controller. It offers ultra-low latency with incredible bandwidth (3x faster, 6x more data than any comparable protocol!). With this tight integration, the TBS Crossfire is the logical choice for anyone flying Betaflight, KiSS, or ArduPilot/Pixhawk platforms.
